Votive Engine T-Shirt

A dense mechanical reliquary wrapped around a single living eye, this piece feels like an altar built for perception itself. The dark enamel-like forms and glowing gold components create a heavy, ceremonial structure, while the pale rising plume above the eye introduces something softer and more spectral, like smoke, breath or a soul being drawn upward through the center of the form.

What makes this image compelling is the tension between sanctity and machinery. It reads like a devotional object from an unknown system of worship, equal parts sacred icon and biomechanical device. The symmetry gives it authority, while the layered cavities, metallic nodes and embedded eye keep it intimate and watchful. It has a strong front-facing silhouette that will read clearly on a shirt, but rewards closer inspection with more strange internal logic.
